I had a lot of weird sushi when I lived in Okinawa, but I'm pretty sure it was all dead and chopped up, even if it was raw.

how about when you eat clams and oysters on half shell.. and they slide down your throat? yuck!

FREAK. I still get that same creepy skin feel in my ankles and wrists as I did when I spied on 'what the adults were watching' AFTER I was tucked in to sleep when I was a kid.

Maybe that's why I wet my bed until I was 12.

True story. My friend caught some frogs one night and put the legs in saltwater. The legs were still jumping. He cooked the meat on the grill and since I will try anything once (well, within reason) I tried a bite. I immediately shot it out of my mouth and across the room because I sware I could feel it jumping in my mouth. Poor little froggy died in vain. :(
