I absolutely LOVE the city of New Orleans. (Every inch of it *except* Bourbon St.) It has been very upsetting to see these petrified victims, screaming in terror on their rooftops waving for help. Finally to be rescued by *boat.* New Orleans is a very fragile city and 80% of it is UNDER WATER. People are looting. Martial Law is in effect. 40-60% of the city is homeless. Bodies are floating in the streets with raw sewage. WE NEED TO FIX THIS. I was about to write a bunch of stuff about the history of New Orleans, why the city is important to America, the things that have happened there, Jackson, Napolean, Satchmo.
